Howgill Family Centre are a registered Charity who have been operating in the Communities of Whitehaven and the surrounding areas of Copeland for 40 years.
We currently employ over 40 staff and several volunteers delivering services throughout Copeland. Our headquarters and administrative centre are located, at Birks Road Cleator Moor (next to the new Health Centre).
As a long-standing provider for the whole of the Copeland area, in addition to our outreach sessions as listed in the what’s on section, we have permanent facilities in several locations.
Howgill Family Centre is a registered Charity with a national reputation for innovative practise in its work with families and children.
We recognise the partnership with parents plays a pivotal role in providing the best education and care for all our children.
We provide a welcoming environment that stimulates young minds and their families, promote creativity, and lay great foundations for both social and curricular education.
We want to leverage our resources and ensure our efforts go towards providing educational, wellbeing and financial help.
No-one should be unheard, and ignored. No child should be without education. No family should face living with few materials or little income. There are many ways you can help Howgill Family Centre.
As the concept of holistic child development gains momentum, we, Howgill Family Centre focus on nurturing children's physical, emotional, and cognitive growth within our Early Years Nursery Settings.
